There really has been water everywhere this week, as many of you will know by the shear volume of wet clothes we’ve sent home! They have really enjoyed it so we will be continuing next week with the same theme, if you have any pictures of your child swimming, visiting the beach or river, in the bath etc that could be used on a display we would be really grateful! If anyone has any margarine tubs so we can make boats we would be grateful if they could be sent in this week.
The letter sound will be ‘n’ a long stretch nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn sound, any n objects or pictures can be brought in this week. We have been clapping the syllables of names a lot this week, so if your child is saying their name a little slower and clapping at the same time this is why!
Fancy an evening of music, food and good company? Tonight is our spring concert at St Cuthbert’s Church, Allendale, 7.30pm. Tickets are £12.50 per adult inc a light supper and a glass of wine, children’s tickets are also available.
Sun cream – to keep the children safe in the sun please apply sun cream to your child before they come to Pre-school and send a labelled bottle in so we can re apply it for the afternoon, sunhats are also useful, please ensure you have written your child’s name inside! Thank you!
Funding and fees – I’m still missing a few funding forms, I need to post these on Tuesday to claim your child’s funding, they do not allow any late returns so if you still have your green form return it asap, we also need a copy of your child’s birth certificate to ensure they are eligible, we can copy them here and will return them to you the same day. Fees are also due today (16/5/2014) if you are experiencing any difficulties please speak to a member of staff as a £5 late payment fee will be added to the total every week it is outstanding and unfunded service may also be withdrawn. Thanks
Half term – we break up for half term on Friday 23rd May and return on Monday 2nd June
